The Father’s Pleasure

Matthew 11:26 – “Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way!” (NLT)

Jesus was emphasizing the pleasure of the Father and His unique method of revealing depths of truth to those with simple, innocent and childlike minds rather than to those who consider themselves wise, clever and prudent. How we see ourselves and how we think of ourselves dictates how the Father feels about us. Avinu (our Father) certainly dwells with the lowly and not the proud (Isaiah 57:17), He gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). We were created to give the Father pleasure (Revelation 4:11), let’s please Him daily and fulfill our prophetic destiny. Let’s humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord (James 4:10).

Avinu, Malkeinu (our King), Adonenu (our Lord),

I humble myself before You and give You pleasure bashem Yeshua (in the name of Jesus), amen!

Happy Chanukkah

It was now winter, and Jesus was in Jerusalem at the time of Hanukkah, the Festival of Dedication. He was in the Temple, walking through the section known as Solomon’s Colonnade. – John 10:22-3

God has always been a God that works miracles! This Chanukkah season, I pray that God’s miracles be manifested in our lives, bashem Yeshua (in Jesus name). Amen!

From Faith to Faith

From faith to faith, that’s how we grow, that’s how we live, that’s how we please our Father. Hebrews 11: 6 says we cannot please God without faith and Romans 2:3 says God has dealt to everyone a measure of faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. the more we hear Adonai’s word, the mre we grow in faith. From faith to faith, that is our destiny. Baruch atta Adonai – Blessed be the Lord!

Living Words of Prayer

Yahweh Supported Me

They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the LORD supported me. – Psalm 18:18

The only thing constant in life is Adonai’s help! Prophet/King David soon figured that out in his life. Psalm 18 accounts how God delivered David from his enemies. God is such a Deliverer! When I was a much younger Christian, I wrote an acronym for G.O.D., it meant;
God
Our
Deliverer

That really is the truth, God is our Deliverer! however, God is not His name. The tetragrammaton, YHWH is usually called Yahweh, so the closest to God’s real name is Yahweh. Well, Yahweh helps in the times of distress, Yahweh is our Deliverer. I testify like Shepherd boy David that Yahweh supported me! THANK YOU YAHWEH!

Adonenu – Our Lord

O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Psalm 8:9

Adonai, Adonenu (O Lord, our Lord), how excellent, how majestic, how glorious is Your name in all the earth! The more I meditate on who God is, the more I am awed as the Psalmist in Psalm 8, why He (God) cares about us, humans. Just being able to call Him Lord is awesome in itself. However, more glorious is belonging to Him! He is my Lord, He is our Lord, He is our Messiah, He is our Father, Avinu, Meshichenu, Adonenu. How awesome is Your name!

Shavuot – His Blessing!

You mark us with blessing, O God. Earth’s four corners – honor him! – Psalm 67:7

The day of Shavuot (Pentecost) has fully come. Shavuot began yesterday at sundown, and like the apostles of old, when they were in the upper room (Acts 2:1-4), Adonai is blessing His people. I always look forward to Shavuot for Elshaddai’s gifts. As Psalm 68:19 states, Elohim daily blesses us, however, during Shavuot, there is a marked increase. It is special blessing time. Halleluyah!

Moshi’enu, Avinu, Malkeinu, Eloheinu, Meshichenu, Goalenu (Our Savior, our Father, our King, our God, our Messiah, our Redeemer), Modeh Ani (we give You the thanks only due to you)!

Sanctification

Sanctification, which is difference from justification (http://carm.org/justification-and-sanctification) is the dividing line between every Christian. I believe that no two Christian are exactly alike in terms of sanctification. We are all however the same when it comes to justification.

Sanctification becomes the measure to devotion to Christ and gratitude to the Father, and obedience to the Holy Spirit. it is truly the dividing line.

This month, father, help me to continue the sanctification walk with You, for my life is to please You bashem Yeshua. Amen!

Incline Your Ear

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. – Isaiah 55:3

A minister once taught that Christians should always be sober and alert, that reminds me of 1 Peter 5:7. Another taught that Christians should be be quiet, observe and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 55:3 exhorts us to incline our ears to the Lord, to hear, to listen, and to receive. In Christ, we have received the covenant of David, in Christ we have received son-ship rights.

Romans 8:14 declares that the Holy Spirit will lead us and John 16:13 confirms that He will lead and guide us into all truth. We need the leading of the Holy One.

Father, help me to incline my ear to You and obey Your Spirit in Jesus name. Amen!

Praise the Lord

David wrote in Psalm 103 – bless the Lord o my soul and all that is within me, bless His holy name. It is such a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord.

Praise edifies the believer and glorifies the Father. Praise empowers the broken and strengthens the depressed. Praise emboldens the timid and revives the trodden. Praise removes the shackles of hopelessness and builds the shelter of faith. Praise is a joy, praise is a mighty weapon.

Today and always, I praise Adonai!
